Cypress Planning Group Co-Founder Earns Spot as Industry Leader in the
2023 Edition of Smart Women in Meetings Awards

Cypress Planning Group is proud to announce the recognition of company partner, co-owner, and hospitality industry veteran Angele du Passage as an Industry Leader in this year’s edition of Smart Women in Meetings Awards.
Now in its eighth year, this annual awards program from Smart Meetings recognizes uplifting visionaries and industry leaders moving the meetings and hospitality industries forward.
Recognized in a special edition of Smart Meetings and at a bespoke event custom designed to create powerful networks and pave the way for the next generation of women in meetings, winners are among a stellar list of role models who continue to elevate what is possible in the industry.
Known best for her “tenacious, nurturing, and passionate” sense of self, Angele du Passage was called to the industry from a very early age. Adds du Passage, “Having been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, I’ve had the privilege to serve in varying roles, and that has made all the difference.”
As for her next goal, Angele is already moving the needle.
“I’m already in the process – the goal I’m currently pursuing is building a successful company that leaves a legacy in the hospitality industry and inspires and affirms women in the industry. We want to build and grow an organization that people want to work for and with.”
Cypress Planning Group began its adventure nearly eight years ago, with a vision to bring industry insight, meeting sourcing, and planning services to clients. Since then, business has continued to grow and flourish.
