With a background spanning over two decades in healthcare, Karrie’s career includes roles such as Medical Laboratory Scientist, Education Coordinator, Adjunct Faculty, and Director of Professional Development and Project Management – to name a few.
Her deep-rooted passion for the medical field inspired her to blend education and event management, making her a standout in both industries.
Since earning her CMP certification in 2018, Karrie has expertly managed meetings and events of all sizes, handling everything from attendee and exhibitor registration to post-event analysis, and every detail in between. Guided by her passion for the medical industry, Karrie has also organized state meetings, pharmaceutical dinners, and numerous healthcare events, showcasing her versatility and dedication to excellence.
Karrie’s unparallelled event coordination can be seen throughout the industry. She manages and coordinates a variety of events for the Small Business Investor Alliance and has also served as the onsite housing coordinator for the 2023 MPI WEC in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
Guided by her commitment to a healthy work-life balance, Karrie’s dedication shines through in all she does. Beyond her professional endeavors, Karrie Hovis is a devoted mother of five, grandmother of two (soon to be three), and wife of 25 years. She balances her career with a commitment to family and her passion for medical laboratory science, volunteering with organizations and working in a local hospital lab to keep her skills sharp. Karrie exemplifies how merging passion with profession can create truly transformative events, making each one as impactful as her journey.
